Sweet, sweet Felicity came as an owner surrender. Dumped, when she couldn't be bred anymore. Those owners had no idea what a gem they were getting rid of! Felicity entered her foster home on Oct 3rd. She is about 3 years old and was very shy and reserved the 1st couple of days. Over the 1st 2 weeks, this girl has blossomed SO much! She is super sweet and gentle. She loves her people and being near them, once they have earned her trust. She has been great with the dog savvy kids in her foster home as well as both of the female dogs. She needs slow intro with other dogs, as she is very untrusting of them at first and is a much more relaxed with dogs her size or smaller. She prefers dogs that are not super hyper or have too much puppy energy, so being placed with a dog her age would be ideal. She is 65 lbs but is shorter than your average Shepherd. In just the last week, Felicity has begun to show her playful side as well! Her confidence has really grown, and we think a lot of that has to do with having other dogs around. She really seems to look to the resident dog, so we think that a home with another doggie playmate is best. Poor Felicity suffered form, what the vet believes, a bad flea infestation and an infection that wasn't treated properly in the past and has scarred her muzzle and parts of her legs. Hair regrowth is not expected, but we remind her every day that she is a beautiful queen! She is crate trained and doesn't make a peep when in her crate. She is scared of cats and tends to just avoid wherever they may be, so dog savvy cats would be fine for her. Felicity is an absolute doll who is both HW negative, already spayed and ready for her forever home!
