Rosa girl (Rosalinda) is in search of her fur-ever home. She is approximately 7 month old with a lot of playful puppy energy. She loves to romp around and wrestle with the resident dogs and could easily play all day long. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and even cats. She has no aggression with food, toys or bones and thinks that all dogs should share with her at all times. She has no problem stealing toys from her friends, no matter how content they were with it at the time. If she’s lucky that may turn into a fun game of tug of war so it’s always a win win for her. She loves kids but can be a bit mouthy and nippy at times. All in good fun though. Rosalinda has the occasional accident in the house but is mostly potty trained. She knows how to sit and the down command. With all of this goodness Rosa girl doesn’t always start out easy. She gets very nervous with new people, especially men, and new experiences. She takes time and commitment to warm up. Men will have to work extra hard to gain her trust but it can be done. A home with other dogs is best. She feeds off of their energy and when they feel safe, she feels safe. She was recently adopted, but a couple hours after arriving home for the first time, during a walk, leashes became tangled and Rosalinda escaped. After trying to be captured several times, she was finally able to elude everyone and was gone for 24 hrs. Eventually she was reunited with the family, though not for lack of trying, things were not the same for her. She had become anxious and insecure. The tough decision to give her back to SSR was made and she is now back with her foster family, working hard on those insecurities. She has been making great progress and will soon be ready to find her new home.
