Nakoa was found in a canal in Texas. It appears he had been hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis and had a large open wound (so large, fish were feeding on it). We don't know how he ended up in the canal, but the wound was very old according to the vet and the canal is a well known dumping ground for unwanted pets. He is making amazing strides to heal against all odds. Nakoa is a champion and arrived to his Virginia foster on December 4th. Check back soon for updates.
