Gully 2739
5-3-23 update on Gully. He is still looking for his forever home. He has come a long way since March. He has loved everyone he has met so far. He gets along great with his foster brothers. Still no cats. We have been working on it slowly. When my cat stands his ground and doesn't run Gully backs away from him. He is crate trained and walks great on a leash. He doesn't mark in my house like his first did. So he is Housebroken. I guess being on the streets he went wherever he pleased. I have also found out he knows some tricks and commands. He sits, knows out command. He gives paw and he will do a high five from a sitting position. He will catch treats when tossed in the air. He is very treat motivated so I am sure he would catch on fast with other obedience commands. He loves to play in the baby pool. Please reach out to your caseworker or apply for this sweet boy. Oh and he loves to sleep in the bed and snuggle.
3-10-23 Gully has arrived to Va. Are you looking a sweet boy, than look no further. This boy leans into you for all the love you can give. He takes treats very gently. He loves my grandkids. He is crate trained.
I have to lure him in with a treat. But once he is in he settles pretty quickly. He is heartworm positive but the rescue pays for the slow kill method. He does very well with my dogs and wants to play. I haven't introduced him yet to my cat. My cat is kinda a butthead so he has to get used to a new dog first. He does great riding in the car and on a leash. No accidents in the house since the first night. Please reach out to your caseworker if you would like to meet this sweetheart.
Gully was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He will travel to Virginia in March 2023 where he will be available for adoption.
