5/4/23 UPDATE: It turns out the Miss Avery got pregnant in Texas prior to being rescued, so she is having puppies! She will not be available for adoption until late summer. 
 

Avery was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. She will travel to Virginia in April/May 2023 where she will be available for adoption.
