Sunshine was found dumped in a dirt field in rural Texas. There was no food, shade, or water for her. When we found her, she was laying behind a stack of trashed tires trying to be shaded in the Texas heat. 
 

Sunshine was so timid when she was found that we had to use a trap to get her. After we successfully captured her, we took her to the emergency vet where she was diagnosed with TVT, a sexually transmitted cancer in dogs. She is currently undergoing treatment.
