Lacey The Love Bug was being given away, but no one knew that Lacey had Mega e. Mega e is when the esophagus does not contract properly to move food to the stomach. A very inexpensive medication is given to Lacy to help with her Mega e. Initially the lady who offered to help did not know she had Mega e and did not know how to care for Lacey. Lacey is now with one of our wonderful TX fosters. With intervention, Lacey's mega-e is well managed. Lacey will have to be fed wet food and be fed sitting up. Once fed, she remains sitting for 10 to 15 minutes after a meal. Otherwise Mega e dogs are like any other dogs .They play, they grow, they bond, they love. Lacey is growing by leaps and bounds! She is truly a little love bug. Lacey's TX foster says she is doing very well. Lacey has figured out the feeding routine and is a little trooper. Lacey gets along with other dogs and CATS. And -- she has met another milestone -- she's potty trained! Check out the most recent 'food coma' pictures that her foster shared with us. Now that Lacey's Mega e is doing well, she will be hitching a ride to VA soon. Are you interested in adopting Lacey and providing her a loving forever home? She is ready to be your Valentine!
