Sweet Amber has recently made the trek from Texas and is settling into her foster home in MD. There is so much to share about her! Amber does well with the other dogs in her foster home as well as the resident kitties. She is a low-medium energy gal that is currently a petite 45 lbs. Amber can be somewhat timid and shy at first, but is a spunky and charismatic girl once she settles in. We recommend a home with older/considerate children. Amber is housebroken, crate trained, up-to-date on vaccines and was recently spayed. Amber needs a home where her hoomans will give her time to come out of her shell at her own pace. It may take a few days, but once she attaches to you, her love for her people runs deep. Amber is an easy pup. She walks gently on a leash, only needing some guidance on direction and reassurance if something startles her. This girl is a TOTAL GEM!
