Daisy 1403

Daisy's life has been turned upside down.  She was adopted through SSR 5 years ago, sadly, her owner passed away in September.

Daisy needs a patient adopter, and someone willing to put in the work needed for Daisy to adapt.  It took Daisy 5 weeks to become comfortable in our home and to start trusting and showing us her goofy, loving self. Things have to be done on Daisy's timeline and cannot be rushed.  Daisy will need a strong leader to help her adjust to her new surroundings. Due to her lack of early socialization with other dogs, Daisy must be the only dog and no cats for Daisy.

Daisy loves car rides but can be very vocal during the rides. She walks very well on a leash and seems to be okay when seeing other dogs from a distance.

She is not high energy, loves to walk around the yard and play with her toys. She loves for you to chase her.

Daisy will need slow introductions to new people coming into the home. A short meet outside to let her know the new person is welcomed. When the new person comes in the house, they should sit down and can give treats and let Daisy come up to them, again, patience.

Daisy needs her person to put in the work up front so that life can be enjoyable for everyone.

Daisy so deserves a home of her own.
